Questions and answers
About sailing, walking and planning. If your question is not here, write to us.
Planning
How far ahead should I write?
In July and August weeks ahead; in spring and autumn a few days can be enough. We list the free days in our reply.
Is this a booking?
No. An enquiry is only a question. We book the day once you accept the offer.
Where do you pick us up?
From your hotel, anywhere on the island. The boat tours leave from Vlychada marina on the south coast.
How do I pay?
The offer tells you how and when to pay.
Sailing
What if the wind blows?
We check the forecast every morning. If it is not safe, we sail on the sheltered side or suggest another day.
Do I need to swim?
No. Swimming is optional and there are life jackets on board.
Can children come on the boat?
Yes. Tell us their ages and we bring life jackets in the right size.
On land and on foot
How hard is the walk?
About 10 kilometres with two longer climbs. There is a shorter version from Imerovigli.
Is it accessible?
At Akrotiri you walk on flat wooden walkways. The stepped village lanes are harder, so tell us what you need and we plan the day around it.
